Try and remember to let your meat rest for a few minutes after cooking. You will find that by doing this the meat will be juicier and more flavorsome. The ideal time to rest will depend on its size. A roasting joint will benefit from 10-20 minutes where as a Steak or chops around 5-7 minutes.
Top Tip: Cover the meat with foil while it’s resting so it retains it’s heat.

For a delicious meal with minimal effort try slow cooking a piece of Pork or Lamb shoulder. Both of these will benefit from a long, slow roast at a low temperature so you can bung it in the oven and get on with something else! They’re also one of the cheaper cuts of meat you can buy so bags of flavour and kind on the pocket… that’s a win, win!
